Fresh Art that Makes You Feel Good
Creating my art makes me feel good. My art makes others feel good too.
Here’s what some folks are saying:
“Your art makes me happy.”
“I’m not a big fan of vegetables, but your art makes me want to eat them.”
“I feel healthier just looking at your art.”
“I just want to eat it.”
You know when you cut a watermelon open, and the insides just glisten? That’s what I aspire to paint – that just ripe feeling of wholeness, inside and out.
Art and food have always been a part of my life. I love food. But some foods don’t love me. In fact, I spent most of my life with chronic digestive issues, as well as fatigue and a thyroid condition, until I was finally diagnosed with celiac – a gluten intolerance of wheat, rye and barley. When I went gluten free, my health, my life, and my art was transformed.
With renewed health, came a deeper appreciation for healthy foods. I saw fruits and vegetables – which are naturally gluten free – in a whole new light. Today, my art celebrates the beauty and joy of food as the works of art they truly are.
