This was inspired by nature, big skies, clouds, sunsets, and the reminder that a greater power holds this infinite cosmos together.
The peace you feel when you look up in the sky at a majestic sunset and your heart is filled with awe and wonder. And peace.
A peace more spacious and mysterious than the turmoil brewing here.
As an empath, currently living in the USA, I can get easily disconnected from the peace within and beyond that is always there. For me, nature helps me remember and reconnect. It reminds me to look up.
While painting this, the Stevie Wonder song “Ribbon in the Sky” kept coming up for me
“We can’t lose with God on our side
We’ll find strength in each tear we cry
From now on it will be you and I
And our ribbon in the sky
Ribbon in the sky
A ribbon in the sky for our love”
Imagine if we are ribbons in the sky for love and peace for all. What then would be possible?
