Inspiration
I love trees.
They are inspiring teachers about community and service. Trees share their resources through their root system with other trees that are struggling. They also give shade, food, shelter, beauty, etc., and when a tree dies, the tree returns to the earth and nourishes it.
Since arriving in Los Angeles, I have been inspired by the area’s beauty. There are Ficus trees all over LA. They are invasive yet beautiful. Ficus trees have quite the personality and have determination to grow no matter where they are planted, often exposing its roots. Yet they still find a way to thrive.
The inspiration for this Heart Art Expression is the beauty and wisdom of a Ficus tree, grounded and strong, rooted in its resiliency to not just survive but fully thrive.
